…why bother making it a cliffhanger? Pretty sure it’s going to be a whole arse manor they’re giving him, complete with people to serve his needs.
It’s political maneuvering 101 in these types of otherworldly fantasies: the overpowered individual with no ties to land or countries does your’s a favor? Try to coax him to stay in your country by giving him land!
There’s real-world precedent to this even, infuriatingly so in some modern cases.
