On rereading, I’m liking Liliera more. It’s frustrating when the female sidekick of the MC is that dense damsel-in-distress type who can’t listen and immediately runs into danger.
This one is much better!
She not only stays put in the protective circle but is very enthusiastic about doing so “I’ll just live here!” ha ha ha ha ha, she immediately notices the value of what the MC does and not only appreciates it but wants to put it to use “Magic bag? Yes please, make me one too!”.
She brings up common sense so the MC can at least be exposed to it but doesn’t waste time insisting on it in the face of the MC’s clearly OP-breaking-of-common-sense…
Yep.
I’m liking her more and more.
