He probably just created a HUGE mess of an arc that will take around 10-30 very complicated chapters to clear, but I’m glad Hiro finally got to have a significant say. Ai should get more screentime too ngl.

Ugh. If he and Erika had no actual connection and were still exploring their feelings in that fashion and she was okay with it, then fine.
But you confessed your feelings. You chose to remain fiancés. At that point, you invest in that relationship, not test your feeling across the field. Just tell Erika that you don’t want to be relationally connected, that you are still interested in getting to know her better, and then you can date around. But keeping her on a string while you go check out the crush, sister and childhood friend…is being caddish.
But from a narrative perspective, to provide fodder for many more chapters, i get it.
Its why i loved Girlfriend, Girlfriend and this story drives me crazy at times.
