The mom being too carefree is the only drawback. What the mom haters forget to point out that this isn’t out of favoritism/malice as the mom equally doesn’t care for MC’s etiquette or studies. I’m more concerned why the dad hasn’t put someone else in charge of his kid’s education once he saw how incapable his wife was.
Dammit I can’t help but rant about the mother. A selfish person that somehow became a high-ranking noble. Instead of showering her actual child with love and affection, chose to adopt a commoner orphan to replace her child to make herself feel like a mother. Not considering the consequences or even taking the time to actually educate her adopted child. This goes beyond bad parenting, this is bad education, I guess it’s the result of having a pampered lifestyle with everything you need being presented to you. I feel sorry for the dad well at least he has some common sense(haha get it because hes a noble)
Your a failure of a mother just because your daughter is acting somewhat different doesnt mean you shouldn’t love her as your child for the rest of your life, even worse replaced her for an ungrateful commoner brat who could destroy your family’s reputation or even be put into chaos between factions for being lazy, don’t want to be educated or learn commonsense. 
Everyone in the comments talk about the commoner girl, who doesn’t know her place, while I’m still hang up on the dynamic between MC and her mother.
I mean, she wants to understand her, but she is repulsed by the fact that her child “read books when she was still 1 year old”.
So… I get it, I really do… she wanted to have a little girl who runs towards her with a flower in her hand and say “mama, look! Flowah!”, but got a girl who runs towards her with a bloody knife in her hand, then stops, shows a headless mouse while saying “look! I caught a mouse!”.
This is why I think, they’ll never be “mother and daughter” and she’ll probably condemn her later on in the story… or that’s just what I believe. We’ll see…

95% of the problems in this story could have been avoided if the assassin girl just killed the fake sister from the start.
With her personality, apparently she didn’t care about freaking people out with how she acted as a toddler. ^_^;;
I tried reading ahead with this story with the web novel, but I couldn’t find many chapters posted on syosetsu.. It’s too bad. You don’t often see female targeted isekai romantic-setting stories like this with potentially bloody violent female leads. I’ve seen a few JPN female targeted stories of the type die after the female main character became bloody violent just one time. Apparently the authors got such bad reactions from readers for the female lead’s violence that they decided to give up writing the story.

I read books early as well. From about age 2 and a half, I am told. the fact mom had to come turn them right side up has NO bearing whatsoever. NONE I say.
