Blessing of the phoenix, no matter how many times you die, you just keep coming back. After the first few hundred times killing off everyone who you feel slighted you or betrayed you, you just get numb to it all.

I think that he decided to let her live, because inside him, he’s still a hero and a wise person, honestly the most logical MC ever, he didn’t fall for his desire to revenge himself, though he didn’t forgive her, but give her a chance to change.

…….seriously? No, really, seriously?! Maybe it’s my fault for being surprised after the MC basically went along with that kidnapping-teleport instead of either disrupting it or GTFO of there once the spell finished.
But noooo~, he HAD to go along with the coocoo-for-cocoa-puffs saintess plans, which didn’t make any sense after the first chapter of this story. My thoughts on WTF she was doing see-sawed between “finding some chumps to take her place so she can run away from the either pants-on-head-stupidly-evil-royalty/secretly-in-league-with-the-demon-king-royalty” and “finding people who can either stall or even put a dent in the suddenly exploding monster population”.
Neither of those works for this story, whats more we still don’t know what became of the rest of the “Hero’s Party” so it’s entirely possible that they were killed too.
Wait…..are we reading the full story? Cause NONE of this makes sense, but if there was a major printing/translation error….or missing pages…..or missing chapters…..that might (MIGHT!) make more sense then a MC doing this after being betrayed and killed.
