MC really should be experimenting on his Ability Steal powers and working out what its limits and applications are.
Does hair and fingernails and dandruff count as contact?
Can he detect undiscovered/unrealised Awakened by handshake? (He feels weird heatless sensation when Pyromancer touches him; explore that)
Does the Ability being stolen scale to his power level (per Magic Stones consumed) or the original user’s?
Does consuming more Magic Stones amp his Stealing range and duration?
Does touching two users of the same power, like Gam’s Wife and Refugee Pharmacist Granny (mentioned just before subway escape) double the extent of the ability, from closing fresh wounds to regenerating dead/lost tissue?
Does touching users of different abilities allow those abilities to be synchronized, such as Pyromancy+Mind Reading = Sightless Targetted Pyromancy?
There’s a whole barrel of possibilities being ignored here.
