GRR Martin disliked JRR Tolkien for not going into the economics and sociology of Middle Earth.
This webtoon is a Gates MMO the way GRRM would have written it.
Quality is not the best, but it’s a fresh take.

essentially she decided to get the government to help her take over her family’s companies, once she started selling and gaining stock this made the companies overall worth less making them less powerful, but giving her more money, this is I believe illegal, but as the government did nothing to her others saw what was happening and di the same to other conglomerates, and as the gov. backed her she gained the entire company. the gov. in exchange gets a lot of the power these conglomerates had.
