Two party systems are never ideal imo. Just look at the US. One party comes in and creates a bunch of new policies, then four years later the other party takes over, scraps everything, and implements their own. Then the cycle repeats.
Having more than two parties is much better. At least it avoids a political monopoly between just two sides. With more parties, regulation does become more complex and varied, but that’s still better than ending up with a system that’s basically the American model just worse.
