Ok so basically the only things that matter here are these two: Mana capacity (which can be increased with items and other stuff) and knowledge which he is a master of.
so, you can use any magic as long as you have the mana for it awesome good to know you don’t exactly have to level up in this world you could just find items to increase your max mana pool (which is what he’s doing) and or chug mana potions to sustain if those potions even exist.
