I have no problem with a mc that’s not overpowered but at least make him special because he just seems like a random dude
This just too simple and frustrating looking at how the mc handle think with his “intelect” when his solution isn’t even impressive

Criminals should be exiled or punished severly to show an example, if not just pay the vagrants to do the job of making that place bigger and bigger by expanding the walls and making houses and stuff like that (give them jobs that they can live of) that way you kill two birds with one stone

Like let them sell products in the market place and put some guards there in case you dont trust them, but pretty sure that solve the main bulk of the problems
