This childhood friend is the sole party leader and she chooses not 1, but 3 party members with poor characters leading to this result of betrayal. She failed to properly vet them (adventuring is a risky job, due diligence is needed) and their poor compatibility with Dion (her greatest treasure).
The childhood friend is too spoiled by that s-rank strength that she probably brute forced her way through life looking at her mental breakdown this chapter, she finally hit an obstacle where she can’t brute force her way through. Of course, she’s not as evil as the other three stooges in her party + one extra (that bandit A ranker), but she is not blameless. Her fight with the adventurer guild leader also showed her lack of mental maturity and self-control.

I want the fight to be over for one big reason… I wanna see what childhood friend does the traitor after the battle is over! I want to see the results!
why is she reacting so shitily ngl from the way she was presented before her in a wreak from seeing dion being actually strong doesn’t make sense, I would’ve thought she would be happy about dion then absolutely rage mode from hearing about the betrayal. Childhood friend has really been done dirty.

This is just becoming emotional torture pórn with the childhood friend as the star. Honestly getting hard to read, she doesn’t deserve any of this.
