This could be a moving reference to MC’s trauma if the manga hadn’t spent a dozen chapters changing the tone to wacky comedy. I still like it, but it would have been so much better if the manga had continued to take itself seriously.

There is at least 1 missing chapter between translated chapters 22 and 23; that comes from the scanlator and is the same everywhere.
The same scanlator changed website and URL shortly after chapter 24, and dropped several mangas including this one.
Hopefully another group will take it over in the future, and fix this..
