I am starting to lose interest in this manhwa, despite its immense potential. The author’s decision to reintroduce this female character feels completely pointless and offers zero benefit to the story or the main character (MC). In fact, during her absence, the MC finally recognized his own flaws and experienced massive personal growth.
While she had every right as an adult to leave him because of X and Y reasons, and she entered a new relationship, her current behavior is hypocritical. She chose to move on and find someone new, so coming back now with crocodile tears to pretend she always loved the MC is deeply frustrating. I despise authors who rely on masochistic romanticism and forced drama; it completely derails the great storytelling built up so far.
Wonder what would fang yuan say, cuz he had no ambition but she tried forcing it on him and when it didn’t work, she left him. What do you guys think Fang Yuan would say?

People who care about each other should try to emotionally manipulate each other.
