A Warrior Exiled by the Hero and His Lover - Chapter 31.5

Another filler chapter that could have been summed up in about 2-4 pages. Even though I know this is one of those stupid stories where the “hero” ends up with every woman or no one at all. The noble girl is the best one. Hard working, a fighter, not underage, not undersized, not too old and likes the guy, not for being a master or what he can give but as a person.

Too bad the MC is the typical, indecisive, piece of crap that will lie to friends and enemies alike to keep a monopoly on his power. Dude could have stopped by every darn city, taken the whole town guard and knights out, killed a few monsters and they would all be level 80 or something. But nope, has to keep it under wraps because it is too inconvenient for him. When you think about it, these Japanese “heroes” have the mindset of a lot a villains in the west- They lie, take slaves, hide everything from their subordinates, hide their power, they only use it for personal recognition to gain what they want, they manipulate situations, hide their true intentions and take actions based on what favors them the most. Oh, and there is the whole Stockholm syndrome where they get slaves and are “so nice” that the slaves never want to be set free. Come on.
