I wonder if the author really thought this through or just heard it from somebody else and implemented it…. Just kidnap all the kids and chain them to your throne….. When you find the one, you can murder the rest.

If the Hero’s skill can weaken ONLY the Demon Lord, then she could have sent subordinates to kidnap Sain as a child.
While Sain is imprisoned and can’t level up, that could have prevented the birth of a replacement with the Hero job.
so even the hero is under mind control? is that why he ask what would he do if he turn traitor as kid?

i don’t like that, i feel like the author is doing a trashy story line to cover for a lack of imagination and ragebait the reader, more and more story do that and i feel like it is just the easy way, a shame

It’s a convoluted plan, sure…now, what happens if, in the process of executing it, the hero no longer becomes worthy of said title, and it instead transfers over to the one you’ve seriously pissed off via the inner machinations of said plan?
no one cares about his parent who was never mentioned even once, but now he loses his mind about it ?!, i mean he even asking why a freaking “DEMON LORD” would kill his parent, like bruh, do you even need to know? she killed your parent was that not enough to fight her first? this is such a stupid way to do exposition dump.
Sure it said the hero would appear in the village, but why is she so sure Sain is the Hero?
