Cool reveal of the summons, but this event and subplot is completely delusional.

1) All VVIPs have handlers. At the first hint of danger, the handlers would have surrounded and evacuated the VVIPs. A guy with a knife would not have gotten within 3 meters of the VVIPs. They would have shot the hostage taker immediately or taken the blade to protect the VVIP.

2) The events’ snipers would have immediately reported and shot the rest of the assault team rappelling down the building. All major events (games, festivals, music) are protected by multiple teams of snipers. This is common knowledge and widely reported on the news so not sure why the author would choose such a juvenile entry method.

3) Let’s assume the terrorists successfully captured the VVIPs and killed everyone else. Now what? How are they planning on escaping Seoul, then Korea with a bunch of unwilling hostages in tow? Korea would immediately shut down all airspace and waterways, close roads and borders, and implement patrols by all forces since their national survival assets have taken. How do you safely move 10+ living assets out of a completely closed off country?

4) Let’s assume the terrorists are magically able to escape with the VVIPs. Now what? It wouldn’t take long for China to be identified and isolated. Every country would be prepping for the upcoming World War since their own national survival assets could be kidnapped next. No one would support China, and China can’t survive World vs China, regardless of the towers. So this whole subplot is ludicrous since it would never left the joke phase in planning. Kidnapping a few nobodies off of the street, yeah, that happens in real life. Kidnapping the worlds only S++ player and more in a secure public event in enemy territory, and killing everyone else, and hoping the world looks the other way, what are you smoking?
