I mean, Idk what to think about this. Even if they make a good story, there’re still some things that are hanging in the air:
1. They are on a timer, the vessels will kill them in a month just by itself.
2. One of them has to die anyway: either only one of them gets the sealed half or kills another for their half.
3. The demon girl will posses the one with full vessel anyway, therefore it’s futile to even consider restoring the vessel, the person will die anyway.
It’s a story where both characters die in every scenario if we go by the established rules. “The antagonist” either wins of loses, she has some real stakes, yes. But there’s still that “traitor” who will take over her place anyway if she becomes a ghost.
Maybe some plot armor or ahhpulls could save it, which is never a good thing to grasp from the very first 6 chapters.
