Instead of tangerines give them rice. Tangerine is not really a food. It’s in majority as water only
I’d give them water, food and all the basic necessities for free, I would only give extra besides these basics, without punishments to “players”, and of course exclude everyone immoral. There is no risk, since you have absolute access control over your apartment that is a unbreakable safe zone, and you monitor inside your own building to sort out the bad apples from the good ones, and pre-empt any bad actors, while never leaving my apartment, just dropping the food/items for free from balcony to balcony to the tenants. Why try to profit off of innocent people, or even worse use them as slave labour, or str8 up kill them? and again if they are not innocent or malicious you can kick them out, confine them, punish them in all sorts of ways (but why bother when you can kick them out anyway). I’d do this while hunting from my balcony and lvl up that way. I wouldn’t just be set on not lvling and just comfortably survive because if there is a game system there may be a chance to beat the game and try to revert at least some of the dmg to the world
This story reminds me of a novel from royal road, called “Battle Trucker”. Mc drives a truck that becomes soulbound to her, and turns into some kind of moving hotel, similar to Snowpiercer.
Can mc give quest from a far, if he can then just act like a deity, it’ll be safer!
So he is even more op that imagined. He basically has the potential to be godlike. He is the master if the system for his residents.. that’s wild. I’d stay anonymous, thought. Give them a quest to scavenge some basic stuff, broken or not and deposit is somehwe within his reach. Since he can restore stuff now
If I was the mc I would remain anonymous to my neighbors and pretend to be the system manager giving them quest and stuff.
he ccould make his own ‘guild’ have them hunt monsters, and set the exp and money division up, so he gets exp and money for the monsters they kill. Infinite money glitch acquired? (infinite equipment and neccesities?)

so uh, that is interesting… from the first chapter it was stated that an unauthorized being was not allowed to come in… but for some reason that family was allowed to go into the apartment???
