I know it’s been said already, but shooting guns indoors is a bad idea. The human ear really doesn’t handle anything over about 140 dB, and that’s where permanent hearing damage can start. Even if you don’t lose hearing outright, tinitus is very likely. An S&W-Model 60 firing a .38 (Special) is usually around the mid 150 dB range at the shooter’s ear, and firing it in a small, enclosed room just makes things worse. The sound reflects off the walls, so it feels more intense and lasts longer, either way, it’s not exactly safe. (Exact numbers vary)… Just like how you don’t want to set off fireworks in your house… Yes, I was stupid. (when I was little) 
In THAT closed space with only the windows for ventilation
