honestly theyre all pretty lucky the mc doesnt seem too greedy, he just wants his family to be safe, and likely to create a community to help survivors

Hm… they should worship him as a God of Modern Times before the Apocalypses no less… and they couldn’t even try and touch him without his permission, they can’t probably even harm him if they want to be inside his apartment building 
I like where this is going. He can do so much, but he also has some strict limitations that fit his role. It’s all a balancing act, he needs their help as much as they need his.
To me this seems like a better quality version of the warehouse story
