It is kind of a bummer that the MC’s family drama has nothing to do with the main plot and is just filler, ostensibly. And that the blood descendants of the MC have nothing to do in the big picture.
From the sequels we do know the effect the MC and his martial arts ultimately had on the MC from the Nano Machine series through the MC from the An Awesome Power series through that Azure Ghost chick, who has a tangential connection to the MC from the Sword Sense…
I guess his father is still alive and has been rising up the ranks. However, why did he abandon the mc and never contact him? 
Dammit!! Just 1 more panel would do, i would really enjoyed more the cliffhanger if it ended with “Your father is his majesty “!!! and then some kind of shadow of a palace.
