All of y’all are calling the mc dense, which to be fair he probably will be in the future. But so far he really hasn’t been. They were just friends before he went into a coma, and while he liked her she hadn’t yet reciprocated. He didn’t get her letter, so he doesn’t know about her reciprocation and he thinks she has a boyfriend. Is it really strange that he mistakes his friends advances as friendliness? Especially when he thinks she is already in a relationship?
