That said, if they were found on floor 21 and they said he’s already at floor 46, doesn’t that mean he’s likely already quite a lot deeper now? How did they even walk back 25 floors in that exhausted and wounded state anyways?
This dungeon having more and more entrances revealed makes me wonder if it actually covers the entire world…
As I was reading I was wondering what Zinc got from Ester that he would want to give to Alfa that would make her blush; at first I thought he gave her his maid outfit, but then I thought nah it wouldn’t fit unless it was magically shrink/grow to fit. Maybe that is for after he gets back from the war ….

When first introduced, it was explained that new adventurers joined one of the three clans for safety. Only finding out they were trapped by membership fees and the threat of debt slavery, violence and isolation if they didn’t pay or follow the hierarchy.
Moving onto the current day: said clan is responsible for a heinous act and the nobles have deemed everyone related to also be responsible. The permanent underlings, the bag handlers, the newbies who didn’t know better will now be stripped of their assets and taken as war-slaves by a noble family.
They treat slavery like its a prison sentence when it’s actually a permanent removal of all civil liberties. If the duke says die, you die; there is no choice. You obey and you die.
This is why you do not mess with Fae, even the tiny ones.
