I think I understand why you can’t help but continue reading this even though the story us bad. All these side characters are such assholes, that seeing the mc destroying them by flexing his money, which was what they were confident in, is immensly satisfying. I have to admit this is quite intelligent. First, they introduce the character. Second, they make you hate him as much as possible, like with the shameless Karen-mom and her stupid brat. Finally, they get crushed by mc in the most humiliating way possible, which is extremely satisfying for the reader. And the best part is that they don’t need to do anything else. They just need to introduce a new victim periodically while adding some girls for fan-service and done; you get a very bad and previsible, but addicting story.
