I don’t understand how it could have been avoided. This is a story written by somebody. It means it’s not going to go the way you want it to, but the way the author wanted it to. If you wanted it to go a different way write your own story instead of complaining about somebody elses if you don’t like it don’t read it

Have I already said that all this suffering could have been prevented by simply protecting the flower a little more? Yes? I don’t care, I’ll say it again: all this suffering was perfectly and completely avoidable!

this don’t even matter the flower is gone, not to mention his first wife he never looked for or the little fairy he never looked for, the plot holes are thick with this one oh almost forgot the lightening bead… i’m lowkey over this
