LET ME JUST SAY THAT THIS ENTIRE SEQUENCE IN THE WEB NOVEL IS SO MUCH BETTER ITS BASICALLY AN INSULT TO THE STORY.
IF YOU LIKE THE STORY, IT ONLY GETS WAYYYYYY BETTER FROM HERE ON OUT BUT I HIGHLY SUGGEST READING FROM THE START OF THIS “STAR GOD REALM SACRIFICE ” PART.
ITS SO AMAZING IN THE WEBNOVEL.
Yun Che’s heartwrenching appeal to reason, his heartwrenching monologues, his shared words with Jasmine and lil sister.
All of it is so much more substantial and perfectly done in the Web Novel thats its a crime not to go read it if you like this story.
This manhua version cant even be compared.
Yun Ches desperate attempt to save them, his appeal to reason, his words for jasmine, jasmine’s chaotic thoughts and the description of how she didn’t move a muscle or utter a word, other than crying her eyes out and feeling like her heart was being pierced, her eyes were glued to Yun Che as if he was the only one there. .
she silently watched his last moments, the last glorious fury and pain of a man who went there with the intention to die but desperately tries to take them all down to get to Jasmine.
The moment after he raged countless times against the Star God realms people who shouldve easily subdued him.
He was a bloody mess (not shown here). How he crawled as he was blinded, bloody and dying, slowly inch by inch while everyone was shocked and frightened he may have another burst of hidden power.
So they hesitated and only watched in silence as he crawled to Jasmine, which took several minutes.
She never once blinked and watched him the entire time with almost lifeless eyes.

This glorious, bittersweet and heartbreaking sequence is non existent in the manhua replaced with a cheap cardboard cut out version.
I highly suggest reading its Webnovel counterpart. The dialogue and mcs monologues alone are worthy of praise. The author really outdid himself in this nove from God realm and on.
Seriously, this sequence in the Novel is 10000000000x better and so worth checking out
