honestly hope they get better, but i hope they put their efforts into another project, the last fifth? fourth? of these 57 chapters was pretty bad, the village arc lasted too long, and Elda is still a psycho bitch. Until she breaks the contract or reveals her side of it shes a naive psycho child that blackmailed and tortures Vera and somehow expects him to start liking her. Her liking him doesnt mean she deserves affection and her plan to stockholm him into liking her is disgusting and its even worse the writers are rewarding it. The first 20 chapters are gold, but the second they finish the Veratos backstory they shelve Vera as the mc and try making her slavery and abuse seem endearing bc she “likes him”. idk how the writer writes that character and likes them, and even is rewarding that psychopathy. must be some fetish. TLDR: great art, horrible secondary-to-main character Elda, first 20 chapters are amazing.
