I just realized this.
When mc found out he’s an ajin from crashing the motorcycle he lost his head and his head regenerated from his body (two heads), we saw this when people first confronted mc and they showed his helmet that had his head in it.
And in the nagai Ken ‘rescue’ arc where Satou saved mc, satou made a hypothetical scenario where he would kill mc by chopping off his head and taking mcs head far from his body = regenerate a new head. And Satou said something like “I wonder if you would still be you” because the decapitated head can probably survive due to being ajin. So maybe that head, mcs first head, which is probably being experimented on is controlling this black ghost.
