Although he can appraise it doesn’t mean he has an ounce of ability in training people personally.
The author is rushing the story too much, he should be linking talented groups together rather than doing it personally.

Kinda not a big fan of this trope. Should be a common thing when it comes to mages who practice magic oer and over again.

New boss is wasting MC’s ability..
Should have him appraise each soldier in the army one after another to find everyone’s talents.
Should be more than the horned girl that didn’t know of their talent.
Sure the manager doesn’t fullt trust MC’s skill yet but it would be way more effecting to have the training be conducted by actual teachers as soon as the type of teaching needed was identified.
