Oh heck yeah! I kinda hate how the default bad guy in manga has become the church, so I always appreciate when the manga takes the time to actually explore what a corrupted religion looks like.

it seems that this area is loosely inspired by Polish history, along with their feuds with Teutonic knights.
Kinda wierd to read 1:1 Polish names, but props to having them there 😀

A city that size would have a decent guard and an army big enough to conquer it would nit be able to travel unnoticed.

Good thing the kid made that remark at the end, and that everyone in the chain to that point hadn’t refused to help

This makes absolutely no sense in so many different ways, if I wanted to poke holes in there my finger would just slip into the void.
wtf is this turn of events? Absolute horsepoop.
So a 10 year old boy can travel a “very long way” without having anything on him because his village got destroyed?
A village that was bordering on that sacred forrest which must have been visited by that priest just a short time prior to this destruction. *coincidence*hooray*
And he must have been able to travel almost as fast as the Priest and even outtravel those knights who already had specific plans to conquer this city so they should have their transport plan already lined up there and then. Also it is a cool coincidence how this friendly priest is staying now in this city and the boy has someone to talk to to warn from the attack instead of just being a streetrat with no plausability in his case.
Also, off course stupid church is doing stupid church things and the priest seems rather *who cares* about them knights killing people for the sport.

Well. On the pro side, maybe MC finally recognizes how terribly, pathetically behind on technology his beloved Aura is so he unpacks some hammers. Not that he will be able to, this braindead moron ,_,
