Now we all know that the MC in these kind of stories are saints or something, plus you have the Author’s life experiences that affect how he shapes the characters and tells the story. So I don’t expect much.

I know it’s a generic banishment story. Props to them for releasing slaves instead of making more. But in my case I wouldn’t make the girl be infatuated with you since the first second.
