An unecessary and annoying love cliché relationship. I don’t know why manga sports authors like this.
The only annoying part about Ao Ashi, to me.

It appears that this is one chapter made exclusively to tie loose ends. Maybe this WILL actually end completely next chapter… But even if they do that, to me, it feels like the introduction ends and that the real story should start. After all, how many manga have we had about the country bumpkin going from zero to hero in sport mangas? But we haven’t had many that actually tackled what came after that… Aside from the excellent “Baby Steps” (that got cancelled for terrible reasons, too), i haven’t seen that much. And that is what i am most interested in.
