IMO, He should just fly over to what is the equivalent of the US in that world or maybe Russia? and buy a shit ton a guns and ammo and store them all in his subspace to take them back home. He could stock up fairly easily that way…

What I never get is why they always do this in the middle of the city. He mentioned an ancestral home so that’s what he should be fortifying. Always an apartment building too
