Did they ever talk about this? Can’t remember. Also, didn’t she say that her dad went to stock up on resources? The store is basically still full though isn’t it?

I knew about The Farmer and the Snake from a different manga. Here is the brief story: It was a cold winter. A farmer was walking down the road and saw a frozen snake. Out of kindness, he picked up the snake and placed it under his coat to warm it up. As the snake warmed up, it got alarmed and bit the farmer’s chest. Soon after, the farmer died from the venom and cold. Without source of warmth, the snake soon slowed down and died in the cold of harsh winter.
