I love how hyper-competent most of these characters are. It’s a nice breath of fresh air considering the typical level of intelligence of characters in stories like these.

Very smart of her to consider the environment they’ll be moving too with her color choice. I like that little detail quite a bit as many authors would skip over it.

I was wondering if the civies were going to wear surplus uniforms on base but if she can just make them that solves that question.
