So, to sum it up, MC couldn’t defeat the big boss he wanted to defeat 1 on 1 – not only a bunch of people got involved, he also had to be saved by women. He also couldn’t save his sister – someone else had to do it.

I understand now, they’re both part of something bigger. The MC’s growth and his sister being his guide motivates him to climb to the top. That’s fine, but what bothers me is that she’s not weak either, so it would make sense for her to cultivate and get stronger to protect herself too, instead of relying on others.
