So my guess here – the godess is slowing the progress human kind can make with the trails. Making them dependant on her. Maybe she brought the monsters to their world or not. He has a swcret or not method to get steonger that defied the need for the tower, maybe claiming it’s bad for whatever reason. I mean people stuck in boxes and will die isn’t a great review. And therefore he was declared a heratic. This is all my guess as a fiction loving reader.

its weird that everyone is sniffing the goddess’ farts so much she clearly sucks. like if a christian became more devout if jesus himself showed up and heel kicked their mom and paid them $20 for it.
