bruh mc shouldve kept asking a bunch of questions, its not like she can even attack him or else she would be excommunicated by the church, and it would also probs piss her off which wouldve been great

Soooo they are just straight up lifting the forgotten realms setting here. Guess the author is a D&D fan.
Players resurrection is taken as granted but could be due to some sort of Sanctuary that are present in various cities. When the Demon war progresses these points could be lost, and corrupted, by evil preventing resurrection possibly threatening the ability of players to continue playing. That would put a stake on the line for the players?
