It really bothers me that the author couldn’t be assed to take 2 seconds to look up muzzle loaders. You fill the flash pan LAST otherwise it would just fall out when you stand the gun up to load it.

He needs to re-order his system a bit. 1. Shoot, 2. stab with bayonet on end of gun, then, if 1 and 2 failed, 3. beat to death with the other end.
