Ok so I’m a little confused. How far is the advancement of technology like we just saw a tank cannon but then the Mc says that making a scope would be too advance which they also just ignore the very next page. And the scope that he used looked very modern too. Then you have kid with his revolvers which isn’t as advance but still more modern then a musket like where does it begin and where does it end cuz it seem like anything is possible at this point like I truly won’t be surprised if I see laser beams in the future

how does a scope with a 444m mark help you know the distance to your target? doesn’t it only let you aim easily IF the target is 444m away? basically the scope just has a notch for how much higher you have to aim, or?
