But….
Read your history.
Don’t use the crusades as a meme of aggression…. It’s Islam that has always spread by the sword… convert, submit to slavery.. or die… just like today. (The modern-day “extremists” are actually just the ones reading the Quran and doing what it says.)
The crusades were (almost entirely) responses to Islamic aggression in the Holy Land.
You might disagree and you might not like it… but it’s fantasy to say the crusaders were the main aggressors.
Try using Islam for your memes and see how liberal and fair-minded the muslim response will be!
You won’t… because you and everyone else knows… you would genuinely be at risk if you criticized them and were identified!
