What was the reason that the hero is tasked with saving the world but the world will continue to make it difficult for him to find the path forward?
You can say “it’s the journey” or “for growth” but that only explains the trials and not the censoring of necessary information. Dude didn’t even get told what he needed to know before dying.
Is his world just incapable of defending itself?
