Complete and utter artistic failure that destroyed this whole section. Why would you draw cannons, there are no cannons in a magic world with almost no chemical knowledge beyond medieval steel imbued with magic. And while you might try to say “magic cannon”, the people in the world need time, chanting and/or magic circles imbued with mana stones from monsters to cast powerful spells, which is main reason Hajime’s crew is so broken.
The characters are chuuni, not the artists. “No cannons”
