…so I think i get it. The MC’s alienation and inability to relate to people in a healthy way due to his trauma (and possibly HER dysphoria scars) is directly relating to the monsters and dungeons’ which are both very dangerous but have opportunity for benefits much like forming bonds with other people and putting yourself at risk of being hurt.
the author is working through some shit, but I don’t think I can join them for this ride. Too much of my own bullshit irl to be watching someone else work through it.
