I hate the part where everyone in the company sees Natori as talented, hardworking, and really nice, so they have to find some way to take him down a few pegs. The big event of the company’s social year is humiliating and disrespecting him in front of everyone. It is, however, very, very Japanese.
The awkward introduction at the end does go a long way towards washing the bile out of my mouth.
