Hmm, fighting a mage with words usually doesn’t end well. Usually means destruction in one form or another depending on how pissed they get.
If MC winds up being on the level of the cast from Slayers, not someone to fuck with in that case.Probably have a nice little arsenal of spells ready to unleash hell at a moment’s notice.
