I imagine the two guys in this chapter feel similar to how eren felt about reiner and berthold when they’re betrayal came to light. To them Armin and Connie are trying to destroy eldia. Also noticed how he shot armins mouth so that he couldn’t talk him down, since armins best weapon is truly his speech.
