Pretty incredible. While some hold onto two-thousand-year-old grudges, other’s find happiness in the leaves, a game of catch, the sea, a scarf, etc. The fact Mikasa never fully moved on from Eren, and even gets buried next to him, is also a nice touch that showcases her enduring love and loyalty. Here’s to hoping we can all find such love with someone and relish in life’s little things.

holy…. rereading this for the fifth time and nothing NOTHING can change my mind about this anime. it made me cry, made me happy, and surprised, just to see it all end? none of this was meaningless Nothing i loved this anime to much.

why would isayama change the ending in the anime? this ending came from his own beliefs, his cynical view that war and human nature will never truly change. you can disagree, but its wrong to say he should change the ending just because some people are upset
