So the idiom that’s in the title, and also the key story point, is not “Blood Parasite” but ‘Brood Parasite’. In case there was any question, they helpfully provided a definition. It’s a totally understandable mistake, with the R/L difficulty in most east Asian languages, but also why you should look up unfamiliar things.
