So, he used the incredibly expensive teleportation stones to move the bodies… somewhere else in the same forest, not even very far away. Economic waste aside, it’s not even like the bodies would be hard to find.
Better, they were walking distance outside of town, so that pile of bodies may have just appeared in the town square.
